We are very proud to share that Toine de Greef has been appointed a Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau during the 2026 Royal Honours. Mayor Potters surprised Toine with a visit in Stiphouse on Friday afternoon, April 24, and requested him to travel on the Helmond Sport bus, together with other people who were to be decorated. Toine was surprised, because he was conducting a CPR refresher exercise that afternoon and therefore didn't notice anything. The bus eventually stopped at 't Speelhuis, where family, friends, board members, and employer watched as Toine received the Royal Decoration. had pinned on with a beautiful speech from the mayor. A special and more than well-deserved recognition for his years of dedication to various foundations and TTV Stiphout.
Within TTV Stiphout, Toine has been a well-known and trusted face for many years. He works bar shifts, takes care of sponsors, helped with the construction of the new table tennis center and was active at the major tournaments organized by TTV Stiphout. He has also been active in the organization of the Stiphout Flea Market for more than 35 years. Initially in the organization on the grounds from TTV Stiphout. from De Greef Textiel (of which he was director). In 2019 as co-founder of the De Stiphoutse Vlooienmarkt foundation, which has by now been operating for several years is held on the premises of Driessen HRM / Brainport Human Campus. In addition, Toine is an honorary member of the Stiphout Entrepreneurs Association, after having served on the board for many years.
