On Friday, September 19th, National Sports Week kicked off in Helmond with a festive atmosphere. Visitors of all ages could try out all sorts of sports at the Markt, which had been transformed into a vibrant sports square—and of course, table tennis was a must!

With great enthusiasm, TTV Stiphout created a friendly and sporty atmosphere. Youngsters, adults, and adults alike had the chance to pick up a bat and experience for themselves how much fun table tennis can be. From exciting rallies to hilarious misses: the fun was palpable!

The presence of Britt Eerland, the Netherlands' best player and international player, was particularly special. With her lightning-fast reflexes, she demonstrated the possibilities at the table, inspiring both beginners and experienced players. Many children proudly posed for photos with her or even took a few shots against the star player.

The day was made possible thanks to the efforts of volunteers Bep, Frenklin, Roger, Tim, and Yvette, and the enthusiastic support of Jibb+. Thanks to their energy and collaboration, the kickoff of National Sports Week was a resounding success—full of movement, socializing, and sporting fun.

TTV Stiphout looks back with pride on this successful day and hopes to see many new faces back in the hall. Because one thing is clear: table tennis is for everyone!
