On Friday 27 December, the annual Children's Table Tennis Party took place in table tennis centre Stiphouse. Primary school pupils from Helmond could register via JIBB+. Despite the lower number of participants than in previous years, it was a very nice event.<\/p>\n

After Frenklin's welcome speech, Carlo, 1and<\/sup>\u00a0team player of TTV Stiphout, explained to the participants how to hold the bat and taught them what backhand and forehand are. The children were then able to put this into practice with the help of Carlo, Frenklin, Lex, Stefan, Toine and 3 ladies of JIBB+. A game circuit, including an exercise against the robot, ensured that the participants quickly mastered some table tennis skills. Michiel provided a drink during the break.<\/p>\n

Then came the round-table game. Everyone got 10 'lives', after which one went off if they made a mistake. Some children were not very good at counting yet... A tournament<\/p>\n

After adding up the points for the games circuit and the tournament, the prize winners were announced by Frenklin.<\/p>\n

All participants received a ball and a strip card, with which they can play 3 times for free during the Wednesday evening training (6:30-7:45 PM) that starts on January 8th. Maybe see you then!<\/p>\n
