During the last competition, 3 TTV Stiphout teams became champions.<\/p>\n
In the TLE the 1st team, consisting of Bjorn Bor, Chris van Heijster, Ario Nab and
\nBastiaan Nab champion in the 2nd class; congratulations! In the last match 3
\npoints are achieved against closest competitor Veldhoven 1. The team succeeded in this
\nbrilliant; it became 5-5 with victories by Bastiaan (2), Bjorn (2) and Chris (1). Especially
\nBastiaan, with a personal score of 86%, played an important role in the
\nchampionship.
\nThe team is thus promoted to the 1st class, the highest class in the Table Tennis League.

Men's 4, consisting of Arthur van den Bosch, Stijn Buurman, Gijs Wasser and Lex van de
\nIn the last match, Westelaken defeated its nearest rival in a direct duel
\ncompetitor Deurne 2. Where 2 points were needed, it became 5. Arthur van den Bosch
\nwon, just like in the home match against Deurne, again against Arjen Wilting, which means he
\nthe highest percentage ended in this pool: 93%!
\nGood luck next season in the 2nd division.<\/p>\n
Last but certainly not least: Youth 1! They also had to compete in the last match in national C against
\ncompetitor 't Belke from Tegelen in Limburg. The away match started well: quite quickly
\na 1-4 score on the scoreboard. 5 points were needed, so 1 more win to come
\ngo. However, the home team did not throw in the towel yet. Supported
\nthanks to many supporters they came back to 2-4 and Stijn lost two matches, so
\nchampionship points and lost in the 5th game with 12-10. Very sour. Frederique copied
\nthis was the match after that; they also lost in the extension of the 5th game. And so it was a 4-4
\nposition a fact. Headman Ben played the next match and had a hard time. At 2-1 in
\ngames he was ahead 7-4 and the championship seemed imminent. However, with several
\nlucky balls forced his opponent to a 5th game. In that decisive game
\nThere was no doubt who was the strongest and the championship was a fact! Congratulations
\nto Stijn Buurman (2x champion in 16 hours is unique!), Frederique van Hoof, Zenne van Rooij
\nand Ben Visser. And thanks to the strong substitutions of Eef Dekker and Pascal-Andr\u00e9
\nWolters.
\nBen was definitely the strongest player in this pool; he lost only 1 match.
\nThe title secured promotion to national B.<\/p>\n
